GentleFit is a slow paced beginner program for those not previously involved in fitness; coming back after a layoff; or intimidated by high energy fitness sessions. A certified Fitness Trainer/Fitness Therapist will move you through a variety of exercises designed to increase your strength, range of movement and flexibility required for activities of daily living. Hand held weights and small balls offer resistance. Chairs are used to provide support, and small steps with slow (controlled) body movement gently stimulate your metabolism and strengthen muscles. This program is designed to be very safe, effective and slow paced for anyone looking to tone, strengthen and condition. Great for post surgery, post rehabilitation, arthritic conditions, osteoporosis or just getting back into shape without pressure. The gentle movements are key to properly move in a non-impact way to stay fit and healthy. They bring focus away from health complaints and build stronger muscles in a mellow way.
