Public Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing will be held on Monday, May 16, 2016 at 4:00 pm in the Council Chambers located at 8707 Main Street in regards to the following bylaw amendments for the property legally described as “Lot 2, District Lot 2450s, SDYD, Plan KAP92266” and shown on the map below.

No.1230.17, 2016

Amend Schedule“A” OCP Map to include the subject property  within the Urban Growth Boundary,  and change its Land Use  Designation from “Agriculture (AG)” to “Intensive Residential Development (IRD).”

No. 1085.98, 2016

Amend the Town of Osoyoos Zoning Bylaw 1085, 1998 Schedule “A” by changing the designated zoning of the subject property from “AG – Agricultural” to “IRD – Intensive Residential Development.” 
 
The purpose of these amendments is to enable a 28-unit small lot subdivision.  Final bylaw approvals are subject to release of the subject property from the ALR.
 
All persons will be given an opportunity to be heard and/or present written submissions on the matter above. Written submissions can be mailed to the undersigned or emailed  to  info@osoyoos.ca.    (The Town will only guarantee that emails received to this address will form part of the Council Agenda.) The deadline for written submissions is 12:00 pm (Noon) Friday, May 13, 2016.
 
Copies of the proposed OCP and Zoning bylaw amendments may be viewed by clicking on the links below or at the Department of Planning and Development Services, located at 8711 Main Street from 8:00am to 4:00pm from Wednesday, May 4, 2016, to Friday, May 13, 2016, excluding lunch hours from 12 pm to 1 pm and excluding Saturdays and Sundays.

ALC Exclusion Application
The Town also intends to apply to the Agricultural Land Reserve to have the property legally described as Lot 2, District Lot 2450s, SDYD, Plan KAP92266 excluded from the ALR.  Any person wishing to express an interest in the application may do so by forwarding their comments to the undersigned or emailed to info@osoyoos.ca by May 25, 2016 .
