Public Notice is hereby given that a Public Information Meeting will be held by staff on Thursday, March 17, 2011, from 4:00 - 6:00 pm at the Sonora Community Centre to provide the public with information regarding the following:

Urban Connections / MP Hospitality Ltd. have applied to exclude the Westridge Inn and the Ridge Pub & Restaurant from the Agricultural Land Reserve (ALR).  The subject property’s address is 9913 Highway 3, and is located on the southwest corner of the intersection of Highway #3 and Highway #97.  The legal description is Lot 1, D.L. 2450s SDYD, Plan KAP45672.  

An Information Package is available at or at Planning and Development Service, located at 8711 Main Street from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm from Wednesday, March 9, to Thursday, March 28, 2011, excluding Saturdays and Sundays. 

All persons will be given an opportunity to be heard at the 2:00 pm Regular Council Meeting on Monday, April 4, 2011 prior to Council’s consideration of supporting to the application proceeding to the Agricultural Land Commission. Written submissions can be mailed to the undersigned or emailed to (the Town will only guarantee that emails received to this address will form part of the Council Agenda).  

The deadline for written submission is noon on March 28, 2011.
