BACKGROUND

This spring the RDOS experienced historic high water levels within our lakes, rivers, streams, creeks and ground water table resulting in wide spread flooding. This necessitated flood response measures throughout the RDOS. A mix of approximately 560,000 jute and plastic sand bags were deployed within the region to aid in the protection of public infrastructure and private property. As the water levels recede and the need for flood protection lessons the RDOS is proceeding with the clean up of the sand and sandbags that were provided. The cleanup must be completed in a neat, timely and environmentally safe manner.

PRE-PROPOSAL NON-MANDATORY SITE MEETING

A non-mandatory site meeting is going to be held on Tuesday, July 11th, 2017 at 9:00 am local time. The meeting will held at the corner of Burnaby Avenue W and Falcon Drive at Red Wing Resorts.  Minutes covering the relevant questions received at the site meeting will be assembled and distributed as an addendum to the RFP. These minutes will be the official response for the purposes of the RFP.
