The Town of Osoyoos has issued a BOIL WATER NOTICE for Domestic Water Customers served in Rural Water Systems 8 & 9 effective from April 1, 2013 until November 8, 2013. In order to determine exactly which system you are being served by, please refer to the first three digits of the account number on your rural water bill.

The Town of Osoyoos and Interior Health recommend individuals drink boiled water or a safe alternative until further notice. For these at-risk populations, water intended for drinking, washing ready to eat fruits and vegetables, making beverages or ice, or brushing teeth should be boiled for one minute. Please notify tenants, visitors, or other building occupants of the boil water notice.

The Town of Osoyoos is taking measures to disinfect and flush these water systems. Interior Health has been fully involved, and the public will be notified when conditions change or water quality has improved. Thanking you in advance for you your patience.
