Invaders Make Bad Neighbours

Date:            Wednesday, April 27, 2011
Time:            6:00pm -8:00pm
Location:      Sonora Community Centre

  • Are invasive plants impacting your property?
  • Are they impacting your recreational enjoyment?
  • Or are they decreasing the property value of your land or neighbourhood?

Please join us for a community presentation to learn more! Local biologist Lisa Scott will provide information on how to identify and control some of the more common invasive plants in the South Okanagan. She will also talk about the natural insect enemies of these invasive plants. Although there is no charge for this program, preregistration is required.

Sponsored by the South Okanagan-Similkameen Invasive Plant Society (http://www.sosips.ca/).

To register or for more details please contact the Sonora Community Centre at 250-495-6562.
