At the December 5, 2011 Inaugural Open meeting Council awarded the contract to Okanagan Excavating for the Compost Pad – Osoyoos Landfill in the amount of $109,700.35 including the contingency allowance and HST.

Sealed tenders clearly marked “Compost Pad – Osoyoos Landfill” will be received at the Town of Osoyoos Municipal Offices, 8707 Main Street, Osoyoos, B.C. up to 2:00 p.m. local time on Tuesday, November 08, 2011. Tenders will be opened in public at the Town of Osoyoos Municipal Office at 2:00 pm on the tender closing date.

The project comprises the following:


3800 m² compost pad complete with pit-run sand base, 60 mil HDPE liner, filter fabric and pit-run gravel surface course.


Tender documents may be obtained online from the Town of Osoyoos Tenders/RFP webpage.
The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted.
