DELEGATIONS
- RDOS 2015 Goals and Objectives and Budget Presentation – Sandy Croteau, RDOS Finance Manager
- Osoyoos & District Museum and Archives – The Community’s New Museum – Mat Hassen, Osoyoos Museum Society President and Kara Burton, Museum Manager. Open in spring of 2017.
- RDOS Organics Waste Management Plan – Cameron Baughen, RDOS Solid Waste Management Coordinator. Feasibility studies have commenced.
BUSINESS
- Miller Springs Limited – Request for support – FORTIS BC Upgrade from Single Phase to Three Phase Power. Administration to seek out additional information about the Miller Springs project and its impacts on the water supply and the community.
- SILGA Convention – Internet Voting Resolution. Council approved forwarding a resolution to the SILGA Convention relating to the analysis and legislative changes required to implement online voting for the 2018 local government election.
- Osoyoos Victim Services Program 2015 – 2016 Funding Agreement. Council authorized the signing of the agreement for a one year term.
- Osoyoos Traditional Archery School – Licence to Use 11600 Strawberry Creek approved for a three year term from 2015 to 2017.
- Wine Country Racing Association Airport License to Use – agreement approved for 2015.
REPORTS/ANNOUNCEMENTS
- Attended fire hall planning meeting on February 13. Occupancy possibly by August of 2016. (Rhodes)
- Osoyoos Child Care Centre seeking volunteers for directorship. Contact Councillor Youngberg by email.
- Rogers cell tower - many concerns have been expressed. Would be located in RDOS Area A and not within Town boundaries. Concern that positioning may create an ‘eyesore’. Encouraged anyone with concerns to contact Rogers by February 23, 2015. Matter was brought forward at RDOS board, which is working on a policy to deal with cell towers. (Mayor)
- Attended site of new Okanagan Correctional Centre. Project is on time and on budget. (Mayor)

The public is encouraged to attend the Committee of the Whole meetings which take place in Council Chambers at 9:00AM on the morning of the Regular Open Council meetings at 2:00 PM to learn additional in-depth information regarding upcoming business.
