Councillor and Mayor Reports

  • Councillor Harvey attended the ground-breaking ceremony for the Airport construction.
  • Mayor McKortoff wished everyone a Happy New year. 
  • Mayor McKortoff thanked Town staff for their hard work in the past year. 
  • Mayor McKortoff attended the Highway 3 Coalition meeting. 
  • Mayor McKortoff attended Interior Health's Mayor Roundtable meeting. 
  • Mayor McKortoff reminded everyone to be safe on the lake and other bodies of water which may appear frozen. 
  • Mayor McKortoff congratulated the Central Okanagan curling team who are the BC Provincial Curling Champions and are on their way to the Scotties Tournament of Hearts. Renee Simons (Lemke) is originally from Osoyoos and her parents Walter and Dawn Lemke are long-time residents.
