WATER MATTERS
- Water District Rates and Regulations Amendment Bylaw 1241.07, 2015 was adopted.
BYLAWS
- Business Plan Approval 2015 – 2018 Council resolved that the Business Plan accepted as presented.
- Five Year Financial Plan Bylaw 1310, 2015 was adopted ($24.93 increase per average single family residence for 2015).
- Water Rates and Regulations Amendment Bylaw 1242.07, 2015 was adopted.
- Sewer Rates and Regulations Amendment Bylaw 1065.16, 2015 was adopted.
- Waste Management Services and Regulations Bylaw 1309, 2015 was adopted.
BUSINESS
- Request to create a local tourist attraction – Ornamental Gate for ‘love locks’ – Valerie Hoppe. Administration to communicate with Destination Osoyoos to follow up with Valerie Hoppe on the ornamental gate for love locks potential location and with respect to wedding destination concept.
- Victim Services Program Funding - Council approved reducing the operating budget in the resource material and promotion/outreach areas to cover the $765, and either continue with the decrease in budget and service, or pressure the Province for increased funding and provide for the 1% wage increase for this year on the condition that the Province will continue with the funding for that 1% in future years.
- BC Transit Funding- Council approves forwarding a letter to the Provincial Minister of Transportation and local MLA expressing concern that the Provincial share of the additional Friday transit service between Osoyoos and Penticton was not approved and asking that they reconsider.
- South Okanagan Community Literacy Program - Council approved providing a letter of support.
- Extraterritorial Services Policy - Council approved the change to policy.
- Extraterritorial Service Provision – (1) Council approves the provision of services at 10105 100 Street, and the establishment of a service agreement with the RDOS to facilitate this service. (2) Council approves the provision of services at 4613 41 Street and the establishment of a service agreement with the RDOS to facilitate this service.
REPORTS/ANNOUNCEMENTS
- Building Permit Report for the month of February 2015. Councillor Rhodes noted that the Building Permit report has doubled since the same time last year.

The public is encouraged to attend the Committee of the Whole meetings which take place in Council Chambers at 9:00AM on the morning of the Regular Open Council meetings at 2:00 PM to learn additional in-depth information regarding upcoming business.
