Delegations
- Kelly Glazer, Executive Director of Destination Osoyoos presented the Mid Term Review for Destination Osoyoos.
REGULAR OPEN MEETING
Water Matters
- The Roberts Point Subdivision Report - Request to be incorporated into the Town of Osoyoos water provision service area and provide water service to the area under the direction of the Extraterritorial Policy.
Bylaws
- Permissive Tax Exemption Bylaw No. 1324, 2016 be adopted. This bylaw, council exempts the following land and/or improvements from taxation under Section 197(1) (a) of the Community Charter, for a 1 year period.
- Application for Comprehensive Development of 4217 Lake Shore Drive – That Official Community Plan Amendment Bylaw No. 1230.16, 2016 be read for a first and second time. That Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 1085.96, 2016 be read for a first and second time. That Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 1085.101, 2016 be read for a first and second time.
Business
- Budget Amendment –Direct Digital Controls - repair leaking roof at the Sonora Community Centre.
- Capital Project Grand Funding Application to the CWWF, Council directs True Consulting to apply for the Clean Water and Wastewater Fund (CWWF) grant for two projects. Sewer System Upgrades and Water System Upgrades.
Reports
- Mayor and Councillors attended the Okanagan Correctional Centre tour last week. It will be an asset to the South Okanagan.
- Mayor and Councillors attended the Giving Cupboard grand opening. Congratulations to Jen Shiels, Brenda Dorosz and Gaye Horne for starting the project. Encouraged people donate.
- Councillor Youngberg encouraged people to support the Harvest Dance on Saturday, October 22 and support all the organizations that will benefit from that dance.
- Councillor Youngberg encouraged everyone to attend the Osoyoos Coyotes games.
- Mayor McKortoff attended the School District #53 committee meeting.

The public is encouraged to attend the Committee of the Whole meetings which take place in Council Chambers at 9:00AM on the morning of the Regular Open Council meetings at 2:00 PM to learn additional in-depth information regarding upcoming business.
