BUSINESS
- August Income Statements – The Director of Financial Services presented a report on the August Income Statements for Town of Osoyoos and the Sun Bowl Arena. The report provided an update on General Operating Revenue, General Operating Expenditures, the Sewer and Water Funds for the Town, and revenues and expenses for the Sun Bowl Arena to August 31, 2013.
- Migratory Bird Cull Agreement – Council approved entering into a migratory bird cull service agreement with Alfred Kole. The Town received a Migratory Bird Damage or Danger Permit from Environment Canada to cull migratory birds from August 1, 2013 to December 31, 2013.
BYLAWS
- Permissive Tax Exemption Bylaw No. 1302, 2013 – Council gave first three readings to the bylaw to exempt various non-profit, cultural, and community organizations from taxation on both land and improvements for the year 2014.
REPORTS/ANNOUNCEMENT
- Waterfront Steering Committee – Council received the minutes of the Waterfront Steering Committee held on September 5, 2013.
- Building Permit Report – The Building Inspector’s report for the month of August, 2013 was received for information. The total estimated building value for the month was $915,000.00; the total values to date for 2013 are $3,058,300.00

The public is encouraged to attend the Committee of the Whole meetings which take place in Council Chambers at 9:00AM on the morning of the Regular Open Council meetings at 2:00 PM to learn additional in-depth information regarding upcoming business.
