EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY Summer Student Grounds Maintenance - Operational Services Deadline May 20 2022
We are looking for hardworking and energetic students, to join the Town of Osoyoos Operational Services Department.
The Resort Municipality of Osoyoos, BC located in the beautiful South Okanagan Valley is accepting applications for the position of Summer Student Grounds Maintenance - Operational Services.
Position Information
Student positions beginning May 30, 2022. A valid British Columbia Driver's License is a requirement. Experience in the operation of powered yard maintenance equipment would be an asset. This is a bargaining unit position in conjunction with Human Resources and Skills Development Canada - "Canada Summer Jobs", with a present wage rate of $18.15 per hour plus 6% in lieu of benefits.
Osoyoos is situated in a unique and special environment that includes the warmest freshwater lake in Canada and the warmest annual temperature. It is Canada's only true desert with the lowest annual precipitation and Sonoran Desert flora and fauna. Surrounded by stunning vistas, beautiful vineyards, fabulous golf courses and other outdoor amenities it is an extraordinary area to visit, play in and live.
