Employment Opportunity Temporary Program Supervisor

Community Services Department
Temporary Full Time Position (One Year July 2015 – July 2016)
 
The Town of Osoyoos requires a Temporary Program Supervisor in the Community Services Department for a period of one year.

This is a full time position at 35 hours per week with the hours being set by the Director of Community Services.

The Community Services Program Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of Community Programmers, Program Assistants and Summer Students and performs a variety of functions including planning and organizing effective delivery of recreation, social, environmental and general community sustainability programs and services; researching, developing and implementing new program opportunities; promoting and marketing programs and services through media and leisure guides; assisting in preparing annual budgets, prepares a variety of correspondence, reports, draft policies and statistics related to community services; networks with groups and agencies involved in the community services field; and ensuring an effective booking system for all facilities and playing fields under the jurisdiction of the department. The position is familiar with established procedures, policies and safety standards and ensures expectations are met in this regard. 
This is a bargaining unit position, and the 2015 hourly job rate for this position is $26.41 - $31.07 per hour.
