Get Involved in National Waste Reduction Week from October 20-26

Adults and Kids ages 12 and older - Send us a picture of how you reduce waste. It may be packing a wasteless lunch each day, finding new ways to reuse some items you would normally throw away or starting a compost bin. Whatever it is, we want to know about it! Take a picture and e-mail it to sdynneson@osoyoos.ca  by midnight Friday October 24. For each new and creative way you reduce waste, you will be entered into a draw to win a "Reduce Your Waste Prize Pack"!

Kids ages 3-12 - pick up a recycling colouring page (ages 3-7) or waste reduction quiz (ages 8-12) at the Osoyoos Elementary School, Sonora Community Centre or Town Hall. Show us you well you can complete the page and submit it to the Sonora Community Centre by 4:30pm Friday October 24. You will be placed into a draw to win a kids "Reduce Your Waste Prize Pack"!
