The Town of Osoyoos gives notice of its intention to close to traffic a 1180 m² portion of 45th Street shown outlined in black below on Figure 1 and labeled “Closed Road”, and remove the dedication of that portion as road. The Town of Osoyoos intends to exchange the portion of closed road with the Osoyoos Indian Band for a 4000 m2 parcel to be subdivided from Lot 4 and shown as Lot 1 on the diagram below. Closed portion of road to be consolidated with the adjacent Lot 4 owned by the Osoyoos Indian Band.
2010 10 18 Notice of (45th Street) Road Closure and Disposition Amendment
Road Closure and Disposition Amendment Bylaw No. 1260.01, 2010, closing that portion of 45th Street and removing its dedications as road, will be considered by Council at its regular meeting at Town of Osoyoos Town Hall (Council Chambers), 8707 Main Street, Osoyoos, BC on Monday, October 18, 2010 at 2:00 PM. All persons will be given an opportunity to be heard and to present written submissions on the matter above. Written submissions can be mailed to the undersigned or emailed to tosoyoos@osoyoos.ca (the Town will only guarantee that emails received to this address will form part of the Council Agenda) by 12:00 noon, Wednesday, October 13, 2010.
