Osoyoos Lake Water Quality Society Looking for Boat Dock For 2017
Their boat needs to find a new place to tie up for the 2017 summer season! They hope to find a ‘safe harbour’ (an easily accessible dock) for their boat, so that volunteers can continue to go out weekly to perform the important tests which record the health of OUR LAKE.
The Osoyoos Lake Water Quality Society (OLWQS) have been working to protect Osoyoos Lake for over 25 years. They have done this through public education and testing 5 regions of the lake from their pontoon boat throughout the summer months.
OLWQS is a non-profit, volunteer organization. They achieve their goals through fundraising and the ongoing support of the Town of Osoyoos and our supportive residents.
