2019 Property Tax Due Date TUESDAY, July 2, 2019
Property Tax Notices will be mailed the end of May 2019 and payments are to be received by Tuesday, July 2, 2019 @ 4:30 pm.

  • Unpaid 2019 taxes (including unclaimed Home Owner Grants) are subject to a 10% late payment penalty.
  • This 10% penalty will be applied to current outstanding taxes after 4:30 pm on Tuesday, July 2, 2019.

If you are eligible to claim a Home Owner Grant (HOG) for your property it must be signed and received by the Town of Osoyoos no later than 4:30 pm on July 2, 2019.  Do NOT send your HOG to your financial institution or mortgage company.     

PLEASE NOTE: If you have not claimed your 2018 Home Owner Grant you may claim it as a Retro Home Owner Grant until December 31, 2019. Forms are available at the Town Office, or at the link below.

2019 taxes must be paid in full by 4:30 pm on Tuesday, July 2, 2019 in order to participate in the 2020 Payment Plan.

Sign up for the Town’s “Property Tax Pre-Authorized (Monthly) Payment Plan”.  Contact the Finance department or click on the link below for the “Property Tax Pre-Authorized (Monthly) Payment Plan” form. Please ensure you read and understand the terms and conditions before submitting an application.

Tax deferment is a low interest Provincial loan that helps BC homeowners pay their annual property taxes on their principal residence.

To defer your Property Taxes you must first pay your annual utilities (water user fees, sewer user fees, and garbage fees on your Property Tax Notice) claim your Home Owner Grant, and a completed Property Tax Deferment form must be brought to the Town office.  The same applies to annual renewal Property Tax Deferment forms.
