Public Notice is hereby given that, in accordance with Section 475 of the Local Government Act, a Public Meeting will be held on Tuesday, February 11, 2020 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Sonora Community Centre located at 8505 68th Avenue.

The purpose of the meeting is to provide the public an opportunity to review information related to Official Community Plan (OCP) Amendment Bylaw No. 1230.25, 2020 and the Official Community Plan (OCP) Amendment Bylaw No. 1230.26, 2020, which both received first and second readings on January 20, 2020 at the Regular Council meeting.

These Bylaws propose to amend the Official Community Plan (OCP) by extending the Urban Growth Boundary around the subject properties and by designating the properties as Intensive Residential Development (IRD).

The proposed amendments to the OCP Bylaw will allow for two rezoning proposals to proceed in order to accommodate two new residential subdivisions for properties located at 10129 74th Avenue and 10105 74th Avenue.

A copy of the proposed OCP and corresponding zoning bylaw amendments may be reviewed at or at the Department of Planning and Development Services office, located at 8711 Main Street from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, excluding lunch hours from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm and excluding Saturdays and Sundays.
