Public Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing in regards to Osoyoos Zoning Bylaw Amendment 1085.88, 2013 will be held on Tuesday, November 12, 2013, at 7:00 pm in the Council Chambers located at 8707 Main Street. Council has given first reading to bylaw text amendments for modernizing our approach to home occupation businesses on residential properties, including expanding the range of housing types where they could be allowed and, in some cases, permitting use of accessory buildings.
All persons will be given an opportunity to be heard and to present written submissions on the matter above. Written submissions can be mailed to the undersigned or emailed to tosoyoos@osoyoos.ca (only emails received to this address will form part of the Council Agenda.) The deadline for written submissions is 12:00pm (Noon) Wednesday, November 6, 2013.
Click here for a copy of the proposed zoning bylaw amendments or they can be obtained at the Planning and Development Services office located at 8711 Main Street from 8:00am to 4:00pm (excluding lunch hours from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm) from October 30, 2013, to Friday, November 8, 2013, excluding Saturdays and Sundays.
