PUBLIC OPEN HOUSE 74th Avenue Reconstruction on June 2

The proposed reconstruction will include:
- 7.0 m pavement width for travel lanes
- 2.5 m wide asphalt surface for parallel parking on both north and south sides of the street
- Standard curb and gutter and sidewalks on both sides of the street
- LED street lights and decorative street light standards
- Localized storm drainage works comprising catch basins and dry wells
- Boulevard trees with irrigation
The two block section between 85th Street and 89th Street is budgeted for construction this fall with a start date in early September. The block between 85th Street and Highway #3 is tentatively scheduled for construction in 2016 subject to budget approval.

TO VIEW RECONSTRUCTION PLANS
Residents and business owners are encouraged to drop by to view the reconstruction plans. Town staff and representatives of the design consultant will be available to answer questions.
