Regional Transit Service Public Information Sessions on August 16

A Penticton-Kelowna transit service connecting the South Okanagan-Similkameen to Central Okanagan was identified as a top priority in the Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen (RDOS) Transit Future Plan. The Board at the RDOS wishes to seek electoral approval to establish a service for the purpose of providing a public passenger transportation system as a community transit service within the boundaries in the RDOS.

To ensure residents understand the proposed Regional Transit Service bylaw and the Alternative Approval Process, the RDOS has set up three public information sessions:

Wed, August 15 – 8:30am to noon
RDOS Office, 101 Martin Street, Penticton

Wed, August 15 – 2:00pm to 4:00pm
Village of Keremeos Office, 702 – 4th Street, Keremeos

Thurs, August 16 – 10:00am to 1:00pm
Town of Osoyoos Office, 8707 Main Street, Osoyoos
