Request for Proposals from Qualified Waste Contractors Deadline May 2, 2017
Introduction
The Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen (RDOS) and member municipalities City of Penticton, District of Summerland, Town of Oliver, Town of Osoyoos and Village of Keremeos request proposals (RFP) from qualified waste Contractors to collect garbage, recycling, compostable materials and large items in each municipality and in defined rural areas in the RDOS.
Combined, these communities require collection services for 26,600 single-family homes and over 7,900 multi-family units.
Key Information for Proponents
The timelines anticipated for this project are:
- Non-Mandatory Pre-Proposal Meeting and Teleconference: 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 30, 2017
- Proposals due by: 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 2, 2017
- Commencement of contracted services: July 1, 2018
