Ribbon Cutting for Electric Car Charging Station

The Town of Osoyoos recently installed two level 2 electric vehicle charging stations in the new Gyro Park parking lot.

On Saturday, June 8, 2013 at 9:30 am as part of the Cactus Jalopies Car Show ‘n’ Shine, the Town will cut the ribbon on its Electric Vehicle Car Charging Stations and Huber Bannister Chevrolet will be onsite (from 9am-1pm) with the fully electric 2013 Chev Volt and information on available electric vehicle rebates.

The Town received a provincial grant through the Community Charging Infrastructure Fund for 75% of the costs of installing the electric vehicle charging stations.

Come on down to enjoy the car show and to learn about this new technology.
