Volunteer Tutors Needed in Osoyoos

The South Okanagan Community Literacy Program is looking for volunteer tutors to work one to one with adults on their reading, writing, or math skills.

  • Free tutor training begins October 24, 2013 at Okanagan College in Oliver.
  • Volunteers are asked to commit to 16 hours of training and 2 hours per week working with someone on their literacy skills.
  • Meeting space is provided at the Sonora Centre.
  • A criminal record check is required.
