About the Splash Park
Under the direction of Council, the Splash Park Committee was formed in March 2012 to determine the feasibility of building a Splash Park in Osoyoos. The Splash Park is currently under construction at Jack Shaw Gardens (corner of Kingfisher Drive and 89th Street) and will be open in August 2013.
How to Help
The Splash Park Committee is currently raising funds towards the construction of the Osoyoos Splash Park.
Donate
The Splash Park Committee is accepting donations of all amounts. Donations of $20 or more are eligible to receive a tax receipts. Check out our donation guide and pledge form for more information.
Splash Park Raffle
In Spring and Summer 2013, the Osoyoos Splash Park Committee ran a fundraiser raffle for the Splash Park. With $10,000 in prizes available, only 400 tickets were made available for the fundraiser. A $1,000 early-bird draw cash prize was won by Jose Inacio of Edmonton, Alberta on Canada Day. The grand prize draws were held four weeks later on July 27 at Town Square. Osoyoos Town Councillor Sue McKortoff won the $1,000 cash prize and subsequently donated the $1,000 back to the Splash Park fundraising effort, while Mavis Trenholm of Osoyoos won the $3,000 shopping spree to OS Audio & Video. The grand prize, a $5,000 travel voucher from Osoyoos Travel, was won by Sharon Brown of Spruce Grove, Alberta and Osoyoos. Thank you to all who participated in the raffle!
