About Sun Bowl Arena
For information on ice rentals, please contact the Sonora Community Centre at 250.495.6562. Opened on October 11, 1974, the Sun Bowl Arena is home to a number of local organizations including the Sun Bowl Figure Skating Club, South Okanagan Minor Hockey, and the KIJHL Junior 'B' hockey club Osoyoos Coyotes.

Public Skating, Shinny Hockey and Senior & Tot Skate

We are please to offer ice times available for public use almost every day! Check out the schedule below for our full lineup of Public Skating, Shinny Hockey, and Senior n' Tot ice times. Due to COVID-19 protocols, those 12 years+ must show proof of vaccination status before entering the Sun Bowl Arena.

Stick and Puck Program
Effective immediately parents are not permitted on the ice. 
Ages 6yrs - 16yrs only.  Space will be given on a first come, first serve basis.
No scrimmaging allowed on the ice and helmets and gloves are mandatory.
