VOLUNTEERS Needed Accessibility and Age Friendly Advisory Committee

The Town of Osoyoos is seeking five (5) volunteer community members to become part of the Accessibility and Age Friendly Committee.  The purpose of the committee is to provide recommendations to matters pertaining to accessibility and reporting these matters to Council.  Members will be selected based on their familiarity with accessibility issues, having a disability themselves, being a senior and having experience in the construction industry.  Having a cross reference of people with varied backgrounds will be important.
 
Interested candidates are required to forward a letter outlining their interests and how they can contribute to a barrier free community.  Letters will be received until June 28, 2018.
